A few days ago I was home doing some post-processing, when my software crashed. As my blood pressure rose I thought it best to step away for awhile and enjoy the lovely snowfall outside. My mom has been staying in the city to tend to some medical issues and visiting the drs. So after yelling at my computer I called mom to see how she was feeling. I could here it in her voice, fear, sadness, loneliness, tired...something in her voice was just a bit off and although she said she was fine, I heard otherwise. So knowing that she has to walk the dog, I informed her of my uncooperative software issue and announced that I was heading over and we were going to the park with the dog! It's cold and snowing but none the less the dog needs a good run....so off I went.
We met just outside her flat, all bundled up and ready for adventure, the dog, Cody, was so excited I could not help but smile.....
We spent the next 2 hours strolling in the park, watching the snow fall, the children sledding the other many many dogs running around, their tongues hanging out, all with a smile on their faces.
On a park bench were the 2 cutest little snow people complete with their beer cap hats (hey it is Prague after all!) Both mom and I stopped and commented on how adorable they were...
Aren't they cute?!
I am not a runner, but these folks were serious and despite the snow they were out there, and they were not alone.
So beautiful....
So happy I found something better to do than yell at my computer....sometimes its best to step away for a bit :D
